See how our team is working with Cuely to not only strengthen our productivity, but also give back to those in need.
At Brook Farm Veterinary Center we believe strongly in providing our team with wellness programs within the workplace. We wholeheartedly believe that our employees who are more in tune with their health and wellness have less sick days and tend to be a lot more productive overall.
We’ve learned that having a wellness program can help build team culture, leading to happier, healthier, and more productive employees. We’ve recently introduced Cuely to our team via our Slack communication channel to help build healthier workday habits.
Cuely is designed to optimize our teams energy patterns and bring wellness into our workday by sending prompts for breaks. For example Cuely sends out messages to our team on a schedule, reminding them to take their much needed breaks. Some prompts may be to get up and stretch their legs, take a water break to stay hydrated, rest your eyes for a few minutes from all the screen time, and much more.
We have decided to use Cuely because it’s simple and it serves as a healthy reminder that taking breaks is OK to do. As a hybrid team, we have both remote and on-site employees who are receiving these prompts to take their breaks throughout their day.
Every time someone on our team completes one of their break reminders through Cuely on Slack, Cuely has agreed to donate an entire week of clean water through Charitywater.org. 771 million people in the world live without clean water.
That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick.
Cuely has joined forces with charitywater.org to change that with our help! Not only does taking breaks help our team, but we’re also helping donate clean water for a week through Charitywater.org. It’s a win-win for everyone!
