$1,183.00  will be donated to our financial need fund with the Veterinary Care Foundation.

Brook Farm has partnered with the Veterinary Care Foundation to support our community. Our charitable fund supports eligible families in crisis and provides care for pets that have been harmed or displaced.

$1,000.00 is in our Employee Advised Fund: Iowa Farm Sanctuary

We voted as a team for which non-profit we wanted to allocate these funds to and for the month of May, in order to give back, our team voted for the charity: Iowa Farm Sanctuary

We chose to support the Iowa Farm Sanctuary as our monthly donation recipient because they are a vegan farm sanctuary that rescues abused, injured, neglected or animals otherwise destined for the meat and dairy industry and gives them a long life full of love, support and medical care. We admire their mission and wanted to help! Also, Iowa Farm Sanctuary came highly recommended by one of our remote team members Eden, who is a registered volunteer with them and it's her absolute favorite place in the whole world to spend time.

$500.00 is in our Employee Advised Fund: Putnam NY Pride

We are proud to announce that Brook Farm Veterinary Center chose to donate to Putnam NY Pride during the month of May because they are a grassroots organization dedicated to building a welcoming community for queer people of all ages to gather and celebrate in Putnam County, NY. They strive to take an intersectional approach that spotlights the most marginalized groups and to use our platform as a vehicle for creating real change. We believe that Black Lives Matter and trans rights are human rights. At our center, we believe in fostering inclusivity, equality, and acceptance for all. By contributing to Putnam NY Pride, we aim to promote awareness, advocate for diversity, and celebrate the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our furry friends and their human companions along with our employees regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
